What's the best front brake Pad for 96 Civic EX. Tried EBC green, not satisfied with it, any suggestions? Where and how much? Thanks

Try the Hawk HP+ or Porterfield R4S.

I'm not sure about Porterfield, but Hawk is available from KVR.

The AEM pads are good for street use. Better than stock and cheap as well.

Watch out for the EBC green stuff pads.
Tried them out and they're ****. They promise no noise (BS)
They are very loud and the damn pads only lasted me 2 months.

Would not recommend them at all.

Heard Nissen pads are pretty good.U Might want to check them out.

Why buy anything at CT?? Their parts are so overpriced if you're looking for crap parts. Go to CarQuest or UAP/NAPA...cheaper and sometimes better too than CT.

canadian tire has some good ****, and for $35 for pads is pretty damn cheap but im looking for a good set now, doesen't matter how much I pay as long as there reliable and safe but I do agree with going to uap and car quest, very good prices at both places, i guess you learn from your mistakes.

i'd have to agree. hawk HP+ is really really good. but if that's too much for u then just go for KVR. i have them and they're adequate for street and track. no sign of fade at the track...
