KYB GR 2 shocks

If i buy GR 2 shocks from ebay, do i have to pay customs. Do u think i will end up paying a lot more than the shocks itself.
Rigiht now, GS 2shocks for my 99 civic are 170 US$ for the set.

Also do u think GR 2's can handle a 1.5 or 2" drop. I want my car to be very smooth and not too low either.

anything you buy from ebay will have you pay custom fees unless its a very small thing and its categorized as a gift

They have a warranty to cover up to 1.5, but I have heard of people running a bit more with no problems (i.e. HR Sport).

I'm not sure about the cutoms charges.

If its from Canada, obviously you dont have to pay border fees, and shouldnt have any problems. If its from the US, find out who they ship with, and call them with the cost of the item. They can give you a very acurate idea of what brokerage fees will be. That way no surprises...Ive learned the hard way. Most times its a good deal going through ebay, check summit racing as well for KYB stuff. They should handle the 1.5" drop no problem, and the 2" should be okay. I had GR2's on maxspeeds and they stood up well with a 2.25" drop and a stiff rate. You should be okay with the 2" drop, but the company might fight you with the warrantee.
