idle problem

i have a fluctuating idle on my 91 honda civic dx with mpfi, it will bounce from 2000rpm to 1000rpm, i decided to replace the pcv valve and when i was doing that i noticed the hose that is connected to the pcv valve (under the intake manifold) was not hooked up to anything, can someone tell me were this hose is supposed to go thanks

it should go into the oil separation box (black box under the intake manifold to the right of the oil filter)
