Honda tried to jook me (need help)

So I was driving home yesterday when my car started to shake like crazy. My check engine light started flashing and I pulled over. I pop open the hood and my motor is about to jump out of the engine bay and the exhaust is shaking like a biatch. So I rush home and park it in my garage. The next morning at 8:00am I take it to the Honda dealership. I wait there till 2:00pm because it is so damn busy. They finally take a look at my car and tell me that the first and second cylinders are miss firing. So I'm like why is this happening. They're like because you never changed your spark plugs. I'm like my owner's manual says their good till 90,000km (i.e., plantinum). Then they're like it might be your ECM then. So basically the conversation is going nowhere and I decide to say see ya later. Then they're like $86 please for resetting your ECM. I'm like WTF!!! No no no I say, you better cover that **** under warranty. After about a half-hour of arguing they finally budged and said fine. My question to anybody that can help, why is there miss firing in my cyclinders? Thanks.
Sorry for the long post

That's tipical of a salesperson.

I would like to ask one question:
Why is it that salespeople especially in the auto market always want to be your best friend when you come in to look at cars??? I know about being professional but seriously. I see right through it and when it's not geniune and ITS ANNOYING! I wanted to with the guy who sold me my Civic over at Mississauga Honda.

Please take no offence to this because I realize that you have a job to do and sales = money.
It's that whole being genuine and fake ARGH!

Konig, you are right ! It's all a "fake" ...

But there are some who are down to earth and rally care about the customer...

I for one, try and be myself, and not put on an "act" in front of the customer.... I hate fake people/salespeople too....

But I notice alotta customers put on their "gameface" as soon as they see a salesperson, and they put on an act as well...

I guess it's all part of the business of buying a car..
