H&R springs question???

I am buying a used set of H&R Sports (from a 2000 SiR) for my '98 Si, and I was wondering what the difference is between the H&R's for an Si compared to the H&R's for an SiR. On the H&R website the part # for the springs is different (51865-2 SiR vs. 51865 Si). Maybe just higher rate. Any thoughts? Thanks. Mike

It is probably a diffrent rate and nothing else, The springs should fit in. I have installed springs in an SI the stock springs on an SI and SI-R look the same

Hell, springs for Civics are swappable in terms of fit from 88 all the way to 2000.

The SiR springs would have a stiffer spring rate, which may cause the Si with the stock struts to be a bit bouncy, but otherwise it's fine.
