gas?

iv got a built dohc zc with the lsd zc tranny and zc ecu, my cuzzin was telling me that i gotta run 94 octane on a zc with a zc ecu due to some ****, he was ramblimng on really but telling me jdm motors need the higher octance.....like the ukltra 94 from sunoco?.........right now im running the reg but should i b using the 94?

the jap motors generally have higher compression so, yes the higher octane gas will help. as far as going all the way up to 94 octane gas - that might not be necessary. Give it a try, see how she runs. i think 91 should be more than enough for a zc... we're not talking about a CTR engine here.

^^^^^^^ yathats true, cuzz my car seems like it runs like *** with the 87, so im assuming the higher compression will like the ultra 94 better, plus iv got cams and the motors fully ported so i guess i should b running the ultra in it neways, only cost 3 or 4 buvks more a fill up

Try the 91, if your car farts, bump up the octane. You just have to keep the radio down and use your ears to carefully listen while accelerating and shifting for knocks and pings
