btw: B16 require at least 91.

For an E-test I found Ultra 94 from SUNOCO helps out a bit.

if you have a d15b2 chassis with a b16a, then you can test the vehicle under hotrod

due to the fact that the car originally came with a 1.5L and now has a 1.6L

you dont say anything. there job is to check under the hood of every vehicle.

but to save arguements and conflicts you should pass it by the guy testing it for you.

I am scared.
I am going have to do the emission test soon.
I have b16 swaped on 96EK too.. with chipped ecu intake and exhaust.
if you fail it..........
what's the chance of mine..
hahah I wish I can help you, but the only advice I know is:
driving for about 20 mins before you do the test to fully heats up the CAT, and feed it with 94OCT ( I think it help, if not please correct me)
OR you can wash your engine. My mechanic wash my engine with diseal ( I truly don't know how it works, if anyone know please tell me) replace ur engine oil with diseal and let it idle for 15 mins, ( don't you ever step on gas during the wash). and put the engine oil back in.
and cross your finger good luck

the diesel in the engine is a bad idea man it can wash out ur bearings, when i worked at wal-mart these always tried to push the sale of this engine flush junk and man when it comes out ur oil is so watery even with the new **** b/c u cant ever get it all out and some guy came back that blew his main bearing and they had to go to court for it b/c wal-mart sold it too his wife and he won so i dnt know man i do not personally suggest that anyone flushes there engines. I have used lucas oil faithfully since ive known about it in all my cars i use half a litre per oil change with castrol high milage and all my cars run excellent and very quiet thats just my .02

Yeah those results were pretty bad... I'm sure a lot of that had to do with the timing being really off, but it also looks like your cat could be failing as well. Are you sure your car was at operating temprature when you did that test? It almost looks as if if was taken on a cold day at startup lol. Doesn't matter if they tested hot rod or not, those numbers are very high.

It was my timing and/or thermostat (changed thermostat becuase it would drop to C when I accelerated). After that passed with flying colours.
