2 inches (50mm) is enough for a bolt on affair with a B16 engine that's N/A. It will be quiet and flow very well. 2.25 would be better if you go for a B18 engine. Reason being the higher displacement leads to a little more exhaust volume. However, that being said, you won't notice a big diff in power from 2 to 2.25 inches, so you may as well go bigger (2.25) in case you do go with a B18. The power difference will be neglibible, prolly 2-3 WHP depending on the model of exhaust you buy. A nice 2" is better than a crap 2.25, but if equal quality, bigger is better.
