how much could i sell my stock 1.6L 106HP engine for if i was thinking about getting an sir swap? it has 132 thousand km on it, oh yeah, and stock transmission to go with that as well, what would osmeone pay for that, its all mint, nothing wrong with it, im assuming its very possible that an older person could want it since their not into upgrades n stuff, gimme osme feedback

probably not to much cause its nobody wants that motor for the same reason your getting rid of it

I got rid of my complete 97 Civic Si kit(engine, auto tranny & ECU) for $450.00. I sold it to some "soccer mom" in guelph who needed to replace her motor.

She apparently forgot that cars require oil changes and when the little red light that looks like an oil can comes on that maybe, just maybe she had a problem......

400 tops the tranny commonly sells for 100 and the engine commonly will sell for 300 ....

the place where your gettign the swap might buy it off you if your lucky......there is a market for them but not much....
