Energy Suspension vs stock bushing?

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has an "energy suspension" kit installed on their suspension that could give me there advice...

The reason I'm asking, is I bought a '01 GSR susp. for my civic and was curious if I should wait a little bit longer for some more money to install the the kit or just install it with the present bushing, they are relatively new, being an '01.

Would the ride be that noticable - New "energy suspension" bushing vs. 2001 stock bushings?

help with this would be great!

some pics of my susp. that I cleaned up over the past weekend..

nice...

OK, 2001, I'd leave the bushings alone and spend the $250 USD on something else... depending on what you have done on your car. I did a 2000 SIR swap and left the bushings alone to be done in another 3-4 years when I upgrade again Maybe just swaybar bushings for now. Bushings make the BIGGEST difference on cars like around 1990-1995 cuz those are pretty old by now.

Bushings are hard rubber (polyurethane) and are located @ points in the suspension.

Where the different parts are to be connected they use this rubber insert called a bushing, because if they used steel, it wouldn't be able to absorb the impact of the road like rubber can. They also use bushing, for ease of changing parts. It would cost a lot more to replace the unit as a whole instead of components.

There kinda like joints in the human body, wherever there is a joint there would be a bushing LOL - if a person was made of steel! Superman

the red bushings in this pic are where the suspension would be subject to rotation and tension. They are used to absorb stresses

cet_civic, yes, use the black ones when you do get them. About 5-6 years old... and the rubber starts to dry up and get hard and shrink, so then poly comes into play Red is just a dye, whereas the black ones are graphite and as such are self-lubricating. No squeaks
