i'm gunna say any header is better than a DC header...from my experiences with them.
I'd use a JG edelbrock w/2.5" collector mod, vibrand j-spec (which i am using right now), JDM ITR 4-1, or even a megan header before i ever dared even think about putting another DC header on my car.
I didn't notice too much of a gain (on the precision power measuring tool known as the butt dyno) after my DC header install, i was less than impressed, especially with the fact that it corroded to **** in less than a year.

I agree with Zeeman, I honestly felt more of a gain with the FREE Ractive header I got on my 99 Integra GSR than I did compared to the DC 4-1 design header.

4-2-1 design headers I like better, more usable power from what it gains you in your power band (midrange) where as 4-1 designs you notice more gains in your higher RPM band.

Just my 2 cents.

thats the difference between a $400 header and a $900 header.
If you're gunna spend that much screw the Rage, plenty of other sexy choices, RMF, DTR, SMSP, Hytech.

wow. my boy made 201whp on a dynojet, in the summer, thru a cat, using a 4-2-1 j-spec on his built C1. don't get fooled thinking the rage is much better. its a good header, but, not worth the extra $500. so many people dis the Vibrant and big up the Rage, yet i'm sure these people that voice their opinions have NEVER used either header. i've had both the Vibrant 4-2-1 j-spec & currently run the jg/edelbrock w/2.5" collector. without the proper supporting mods, the results are similar. the only headers i have seen make rediculous power are custom Hytech or SMS, RMF and SSR SS. u know, the REAL ****. not the bootlegged, 90% similar $850 copies.

from what i remember, there is no 4-2-1 Megan w/2.5" collector. you must be thinking 4-1, or, it was advertised incorrectly. the 4-2-1 has a 2" collector....unless they redesigned the old 4-2-1
