PR3
89-91 DOHC VTEC B16A ECU

ECU DATA:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The PR3 and PW0 ecu's are specifically designed for the 88-91 civic/crx and 90-91 integra chassis wiring. NON-OBD ecu type.

Customization of VTEC and redline points are only available [if applicable]. Fuel & timing maps are set in stone [for now].

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PR3 DOHC VTEC | Available Programs...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PR3.MDS
PROGRAM TYPE::::
DOHC VTEC program with disabled sensors (Mugen variant)
VTEC RPM POINT::::
[choose one] 4800 | 5200 | 5500 | 5700
REDLINE RPM POINT::::
[choose one] 8800 | 9000 | 9200 | 9500 | 10k
FUEL & TIMING::::
maps are enhanced moderately
SENSOR INFO::::
Disabled VTEC pressure switch
Disabled knock sensor
Disabled 2nd 02 sensor
Disabled speed limiter
DYNO TESTED?::::
[ not yet ]
NOTES::::
Most widely sold program I have for the PR3 ecu. Not only is this a great race program for the 88-91 civc/crx and 90-91 integra, it makes wiring up VTEC less of a hassle since all you have to wire up is the VTEC solenoid sensor!
Having tested the listed sensors disabled, it does not hurt anything performance-wise on a naturally aspirated engine. Gas mileage will slightly drop with this program.
ISSUES::::
A few people have reported that they have issues with a low idle/cold start, but once the engine warms up it runs fine. Also, when the A/C kicks on the idle drops low and sometimes the engine will stall.

PR3.M
PROGRAM TYPE::::
DOHC VTEC program with all sensors ENABLED (Mugen variant)
VTEC RPM POINT::::
[choose one] 4800 | 5200 | 5500 | 5700
REDLINE RPM POINT::::
[choose one] 8800 | 9000 | 9200 | 9500 | 10k
FUEL & TIMING::::
maps are enhanced moderately
SENSOR INFO::::
Speed limiter is removed; all other sensors are ENABLED.
DYNO TESTED?::::
[ not yet ]
NOTES::::
Basically, this is the same program as above (PR3.MDS) but with all sensors enabled, with exception to the speed govenor.
ISSUES::::
A few people have reported that they have issues with a low idle/cold start, but once the engine warms up it runs fine. Also, when the A/C kicks on the idle drops low and sometimes the engine will stall.

PR3.SPN
PROGRAM TYPE::::
DOHC VTEC program, Spoon variant.
VTEC RPM POINT::::
[choose one] 4800 | 5200 | 5500 | 5700
REDLINE RPM POINT::::
[choose one] 8800 | 9000 | 9200 | 9500 | 10k
FUEL & TIMING::::
maps are slightly enhanced; close to stock maps.
SENSOR INFO::::
Speed govenor is disabled; all other sensor are enabled.
DYNO TESTED?::::
[ not yet ]
NOTES::::
Basically a Spoon copy. Runs nice not much fuel mileage is lost compared to a stock PR3 program.
ISSUES::::
[ none reported ]
