Car Dies When Really Warmed Up
Ok so when i drive it's fine but after about an hour and a half of driving the car would just die the idle will go so low that it shuts off whats wrong with this car?

Sounds like you need a tune-up my friend, (assuming your driving a 89 civic Si) if you can keep the car alive by pumping the gas then u just need to adjust your idle. Also make sure your not running a 1989 fuel filter. Ive seen so many ef's running fuel filters that look 15 years old. Good Luck.

sounds like you need to pop the distributor cover off and take a look inside, I bet you'll see a whole lot of oxidation and crap on the terminals. temp fix - clean it with sandpaper. if that fixes it, then you WILL NEED a new cap and rotor.

Ok checked and replaced distributor cap and rotor still dies out when warmed up can it be the PCV Valve?

unlikely the PCV valve. but it's easy to check, just take it out and shake it, if you hear a clack clack clack as you shake it, it's good, put it back.
first of all, does the car restart after it dies? or does it take a while for it to restart?? I would be suspect of the main relay as well... hot cars dying could mean bad main relay.

Changed the PCV the old one did not rattle after replaced it i drove it drives fine now does not cut off anymore but still sometimes the RPMs do drop really low but bounces back right up to where it should be .
yeah it would take a while to start like let it cool down abit and it would restart but not any more
is it possible that the main relay is still going? how do i check the main relay???? where would it be?

the main relay is located next to the fuse panel, on the left most side of the dash, it's kinda tough to get to... pull it out, open it up and look for cracked or dry solder joints, resolder those connections and plug it back in. also check to make sure your grounds are intact and tight. your rpm dropping but not cutting out kinda makes the relay less of a possiblity.

hard to say, I'd start diagnosis with a good tuneup, then check the IACV, then look for carbon build up in the intake manifold (where the IACV hooks up)... beyond that, it could be a bad ground... I'd also read the plugs to see what kinda combustion condition we're looking at.
