Cable or hydrolic tranny

Does EG si have cable or hydrolic transmissions?
and which one of the two is better ?

hydraulic and there are no distinct advantages to either IMO - but hydraulic is considered better - not sure why, I guess ppl just like the fact there is nothing to adjust

everything on vw jetta and golf use hydro trannys from 991/2 up.

the diff is how the clutch is actuated... old ones have a cable from the pedal to the clutch, the new ones have a clutch master cyl and clutch slave cyl with hydraulic lines connecting them

hydro trannys are newer hence less probs. i like cable better as well because there is more control and feed back to the driver
