unless you have aluminium hat two peice rotors, aluminium calipers, lightweight rims, and uber JDM lightweight lug nuts in a really gay color. :)

honest to god, best bang for the dollar is all OEM GSR/SiR parts on a lightweight car like an VX or HX. maybe just harder pads for the track days.

brembo blanks > OEM. same quality but the brembos are hella cheaper. i had brembo slotted with hp+ for a year and a half until they got worn down. i bought the same setup except this time i just bought blanks. they're even cheaper than the slotted and works just as good. i don't have to worry about brake fade because the hp+ has a pretty wide temperature range. they are a bit noisy but i love the initial bite on these pads. my friend hit his head on the dash when he wanted to see the stopping power in my car. the bite doesn't go away either, it gets better and better.

i'm also running a 1' mc and it's not that hard to find. all 98+ integras came with 1' and they go for 50 bucks each at junkyards. i'm still running a stock cx pv though but i don't notice a difference. it stops on a dime so i don't see the need to switch to an integra pv.

LOL your friend should learn to wear a seatbelt when 'brake checking'.
