bigger rad?

is there any advantage of getting a bigger rad for my b-16? also would there still be room to mount a inter cooler for turbo? also is there a noticeable increase in power with headers? thanks

as long as the rad can cool enough coolant in the time interval it takes for the thermostat to open back up, you don't need a bigger rad.

ur just full of questions eh?
I don't mean to be a dick, but search man, seriously, people will get fed up with answering so many questions.

I header is a good start to getting your engine to breathe the best it can, combined with a good intake and exhaust it will really help ur engine get flowing well. Just don't go and buy the cheapest header you can find, with car parts, generally, you get what you pay for.

Bigger doesn't mean better, as the thickness of the radiator also factors into play.

The stock rads on Civics are more then effecient even with moderatly moded engines. My buddy had an ef that was boosted to around 25 pounds and only started to have overheating problems when beating the snot out of the car. If you really want to upgrade then look into a del sol dual core rad, its alot cheaper then high performance aftermarket rads and it will bolt up alot easier to.
