I just had my throttle body borded out a few mm's, now the car wont idle under 1700 rpm's, it always fluctuates between 1700 -2100 rpm's.
vehicle is a 2000 civicsi 1.6 vtec there is an idle control valve on the throttle body does that have somethign to do with it?

it can be adjusted to raise and lower your idle
i dont know why its fluctuating though

did you get the throttle body taper bored?
Did who ever bored it out use a new throttle plate of a larger size to match the new diameter of the throttle body? If not you will never get it to idle lower b/c there is a gap for air to get past the throttle plate.
I've got a 64mm bored 2nd gen b16 throttle body and i don't have any problems.

Yup, the throttle plate needs to increase its size to fit the new bore diameter.

What is the new bore size?

mine fluctuated like that when i took off my tb. replaced the gasket and it was all good
