bad shake

i just got in my car right now to go to the store, and when i started it up (it did turnover and start ok) it was at very low RPM and was shaking like it was bogging out and getting ready to stall???

im thinking some sort fo fuel problem..... any suggestions?

car- 98 civic EX
d16y8 5 spd

only mods aem CAI and custom exhaust

whats a fuel filter??? j/k


how often should it be changed??? cuz ive put like 30,000 miles on it since i bought it

ar has about 91,000 now

my friend had the same problem but no in a civic, and changing the fuel filter worked for him

about USD $15 from honda
I'd also do a full tuneup while you're at it, cap rotor wires plugs fuel and air filters, oil change, and seafoam it.

^ is it a good idea to seafoam an engine with that low kilometers??

just throw some new plugs and new air filter...no need to spend all that money on stuff that is fine for now.

I had the same problem today... so I popped my hood and looked.. then I turned off the car. fixed the issue and closed the hood. then I started the car to check and sure enough I was right
















































one spark plug wire was off the cap so I put it back on
