All motor or Turbo?
I need some advice. Which setup is better? I want something that has some more punch that my d16z6, and something that doesn't need constant tweaking.
I'm leaning towards all motor, but with turbo you get higher numbers. A b18c1 will only give you 170HP and 128ish torque, whereas turbo gives HP in the 200.
What do you guys think.
Also all motor costs a bit more. A b18c1 will cost $4000 (installed) but a brand new Apex'i turbo setup will cost roughly the same price.

I'm doing turbo, I'll let you know how it goes. Don't forget, turbo on D series gives you 200 hp AND like 180-200 torque too You'll never see that in a small NA. Personally, if I were you I'd start with the basics... a B18B install. It's a fun install, great results, excellent torque curve... and cheap. Once that's done, do a turbo on it. If by then you think turbo is ghay, then you can have Steve attach a B16A head to it with some cams and a B18C or H22A computer, and you'll be running a hybrid beast under the hood. Good B18B VTEC motors make about 200 hp and 150 torque. Turbo B18B makes about close to 300 hp and 250 torque. These are appx #s of course. A gimp can make a B18B make no horsepower when blown or a champ can make it get out 400 hp (www.tappauto.com - Chris' black hatch)
