help me please

i have a 94 si coupe and im wonderin if 2 1/4 inch pipe will make me lose power
is 2 inch better?

well lets put it this way ..


more back pressure = better low end torque (there are limits here)
less back pressure = better high end horsepower (limits here too)

with that said I'd suggest the 2 and 1/4 if your doing a swap int he future or have a b series engine already and if your sticking to d series I'd recommend the 2 inch pipe ...

power loss ...your kidding me right, you wont even notice a difference in power loss cause you wont loose any due to back pressure, i have dual exaust on my car and people also told me that i would loose power due to back pressure, not true at all.

2.25" is safe on a healthy D block.
