Don't do it! Don't take it to Formula for service. I went there for my first oil change, I brought a bottle of synthetic and they didn't put it in for me. They told me their "engineer" didn't recommend putting in synthetic before 20,000 km. (I had 6,000 km on it). That is total B.S. and I never took my car there again. Although that is where I bought 2 of my cars. For my maintenence, I usually go to Roadsport they have better hours.
Just my $0.02

By the way, I noticed your "Location". Let's get things clear, you are not located in me...my initials are M.Y. and I drive an SiR.

Is your car automatic? I don't remember if it recommended an ATF flush or not. If so, the dealer can technically decline warranty work without receipts.
Be nice to the dealer. Like on a previous thread, the dealer basically can make a call. I know some don't like the idea of "kissing ***" but I am not saying that, just don't be an "a$$Ho!e" that's all.
If there isn't anything that is related to the ATF, it shouldn't be a problem to get it covered under warranty.
