Replace the headlight fluid, and make sure you put SUMMER air in the tires.

Fawk, last year I left the winter air in all year and nearly wrecked the tires.

You guys, Very funny.

I'm planning on changing out the spark plugs, distributor and wires. I have not done it before and the only think I can find is this,
http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/timing/timing.php. It's for a B series so I'm not sure if most if the info is the same for a D series.

I've changed wires and spark plugs before no biggie, but not the timing. I got a timing gun just recently and I'm looking forward to playing with it. I have a habit of learning things the hard way, so I thought I'd try to get some feedback here first before jumping in.

I know you have to remove a few covers to see the mark on the block and the crank pulley. But what timing do you set a stock D16Y8 to? When removing the old distributor is it a good idea to note the position, and try to install the new one as close as possible? Does the Honda Civic Service Manual cover timing in detail?

I did search on this site and the old one, I did not see anything. Any feedback would be appreciated. Maybe this can be a DIY for guys looking do this. Your suppose to do tune up yearly no?
