1st gen B16 in a 94 civic

hey i'm looking into buying a B16a1 longblock complete with everything but the tranny, i know i can't use it anyways cause mine is hydro clutch

i just wanna know if i put a hydro tranny on is it good to go or is the more involved?......are the engine mount points direct bolt in?
what do i need done ontop of teh tranny swap??change teh ECU to an OBD1??wiriing???

why not get an 2nd gen B16? Lots easier and have 10 more hp than 1st gen.

I think 1st B16 engine mounts are different with 2nd b16, you will need new engine mounts?

same mounting locations, the only difference is the tranny mount. B-series tranny mounts for cable are different than hydraulic.


What you will have to do is..... bolt a hydraulic tranny up to your first gen b16, put your obd1 injectors in, as well as an obd1 distributer and alternator.


Hasport does make a conversion kit where u can use a cable tranny but why would u want to?
