1994 dx 125km , advice please new to builds

I have my eye on this 94 civic dx hatch with 125k on it it's auto and I don't like automatic so engine & transmission swap would be a must is it hard to do and what would be a good engine on that car I have no Idea I kinda want to put a turbo in it and all that but cost is a thing advice would be appreciated thanks
Currently driving a 2000 Honda Accord lx with 260k maybe some one can help me with that on engine swaps of possible instead of buying a second car

The swap from auto to manual is kinda a pain, tho if you spend the $$$ on mounts then that take the hardest part outta it. Hasport has a mount kit for putting a standard trans into an auto chassis but you still need to add the pedal, master, lines and slave. None of which is that big of deal really but can be a bit overwhelming. If the shell is mint then it's worth it. As for your accord, really the only option is to go V6, so pretty much any J series engine you can find. There is a six speed that was available for J series but they're kinda rare. Read up on the various J series motors, I think the 00 accord came with either the J30 or 32 and only in auto.

You could also go with an H series, possibly even G series (which doesn't actually exist it's a nick name for a frankenstien build. F block + H head = G motor) Which guys also use K series pistons, flipped around in.

K series is another option thos probably the hardest to pull off in the accord, I know I've seen it in other gen accords so maybe do able but big $$$.

There's almost to many options. There's a sticky in engine thread I think that lists a lot I options, also if u just type in the search box ur car and the engine ur lookin at putting in your almost garunteed it will be there. The guys on her are great with any questions u have, ( dusty ^^ always around).

But a big question to ask is usually wat do u want outta the car and how much can u spend. What u can spend usually dictates wat u want out of the car lol as much as if sucks. Also helps if your doing it urself saves I'm gonna say it's saved me def more then 50% of cost to have someone else/shop do the work.
