Just curious: Civic vs. Sentra
#4
but arent all sentras automatic?
The 2000 Sentra is offered in three trim levels, XE, GXE and SE
XE, GXE ---------1.8 litre
SE-------------2.0 litre
The DOHC 1.8-liter cranks out 126 horsepower at 6,000 rpm but more significantly it delivers 129 foot-pounds of torque
The DOHC 2.0-liter produces 145 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 136 foot-pounds of torque (up from 132) at 4,800 rpm.
By the way, a five-speed manual transmission is standard on all models.
1995 Civic coupe trim.
D15B7
102hp @ 5900 rpm
98lb/ft @ 5000 rpm
D16Z6
125hp @ 6600 rpm
106lb/ft @ 5200 rpm
Sentra's got more torque.....

a si 95 could rape it, stick and no mods....in a quarter mile and we beat it from stop light to stop light...
my buddy's V (stock) can "keep up" with my b16 h/b... an SE-R base auto is another story though
as far as 2000 dx coupe vs. 2000 sentra
the b15 SR20 (se trim) will take it no problem, the Si would be a little closer...
this is assuming similar drivers, same conditions obviously
