Agreed with Zee, definetly need to not cheap out on wastegate/bov/turbo/mani, i found that ebay if u buy a turbokit and toss/sell the waste/bov/turb/mani, and actually spend decent cash on them you can get a nice kit...
if u wanna check out some turby projects with proof that ebay isnt total junk.. if ya know where to search :P u can check out my good friends at

Turbo Projects , all these guys make their own piping, do whatever it takes to build boost to their motors

to be honest, if you know anyone that has 17' rims that're nice, or you have 800$, i can get you a kit that works great, and just needs a bov, unfortunately its an internal wastegate my preference is external.. but still would produce some sweet numbers and Everyone loves to hear a nice spool now and then

actually, my kit was given to me from my best friend before he passed away.

Its a GT3255E turbo, crappy splitfire turbo manifold, 2.5" exhaust, turbosmart 38mm wastegate with open dumptube, HKS SSQ blow-off valve, 580cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump, tuned by myself using Neptune @ 8psi it made 250whp 170wtq

i've got a built b16 block that i'll eventually be using, hence 580cc injectors. I'd like to make 400whp with the built engine, but then again, i'm in no hurry to put that engine in.

The car starts up everyday, runs mint and still gets me 500-550+kms to a tank of gas, all year round.

560 injectors are a bit small for 400whp you would be running them at 100% duty cycle thats a dangerous game to play.

Here is a guide sheet . Some companies used different pressures and duty cycles, but for the most part, all companies are within a few percent of each other.

Flow Rate vs. HP Level
(Flow Rate for each injector,
in a four cylinder setup.)

310cc 200~220whp
370cc 220~280whp
440cc 280~330whp
550cc 330whp~380whp
660cc 380whp~425whp
720cc 425whp~475whp
880cc 475whp~525whp
980cc 525whp~600whp

I'm very aware of what duty cycles would be like at 400whp with 580cc injectors, thats why I said "I would like to hit 400whp", if I run out of injector before that, then so be it. Maybe i'll speak with eurodrive to see if they can increase the flow rate of my injectors, but until I'm ready to put in my built engine, its the last thing i'm worried about.

What does it cost to increase the flow rate?

Last time I talked to him about it, he said $25 per injector, that included sonically cleaning them as well. Only certain injectors can have the flow rates increased though, so i'm not even sure if he could do the injectors i'm using.

they're precision 580cc peak and hold injectors....they aren't from any specific car.

I don't think i'd ever use DSM injectors on a car I own, but yes a lot of people do use DSM's in their hondas. I'd say prolly like at least 50% of the boosted cars I tune use DSM injectors.

Installing a turbo kit is a pretty labour intensive job. It requires removing the exhaust manifold, oil pan (to drill and tap the turbo oil return line fitting), intake tubing, stock oil pressure sending unit, front bumper (to mount the intercooler) and fender liners.
A "bolt-on" kit is NEVER a completely true bolt-on kit. Any kit i've ever had any part in installing has always required some custom fabrication. This is why most shops charge so much to install a turbo kit.
