hey everyone,
just looking for a bit of advice. when my car is cold it bogs if i put my foot on the gas but only till it warms up. after it warms up its not a problem. i have replaced the plugs cap and wires and tonight the fuel filter. im sure its a fuel problem as my a/f meter is doin some crazy s**t but cant pinpoint the problem. any ideas?

by that im guessing you mean the check engine light....and no its not.

Did you do the dizzy cap AND rotor? or just the cap? usually you should do them both at the same time.

Could be a number of things. Could be a bad injector, bad fuel, check the battery terminal connections and ground straps, also could be the ignition coil....

cap and rotor were done last year so i dout they would be fubard just yet.

and shouldnt the CEL be on if any of te things you mentioned were gone or going? sry im still fairly new to all this s**t

The CEL will not always come on with a trouble code. It all depends on what the problem is. Usually if it's something electrical related (a bad sensor or ?) it'll throw a CEL.

Does it stutter or just have no power or? What, specifically, is it doing? It's not always easy to diagnose without seeing the car in person...lol.

see thats the weird thing, the issue im having only reers it big fat ugly head when the car is cold. as soon as it reaches operating temp...it goes away..

nothing motor wise other than a short ram intake. could sloppy valve lash be causing my issue?

I wouldn't think so. If it were out by that much you'd hear it chattering pretty bad.

Check your pm box, I live not far from newmarket and could come have a look at it...
