anyone would like to help a new fellow out i'm slowly gonna start to fix up my car i still gotta take pics of it but i'm looking for an air intake for my car it's an 05 honda civic Lx or Ex special edition. I'm also looking for someone to be a great for me since i'm really new at this and what not. I'll truely appreciate it thanks.

IMHO it does not really matter what air intake you buy /pick since you will not see that much gains from different ones ( maybe 1 - 2 HP) ...

Does the 05 lx have a sensor like iat or anything on the intake pipe? If not get some pipe, a silicone coupler and a k&n filter. If you need to put a line to the valve cover just drill the tube, get a bung, jb weld it in and your set. All set and done for about 20$ or less without the filter.

Or you can buy an ebay or from TooFast who are affiliates for this club.

I never paid more than 25$ for intake and if its dirty/scratched I just paint it with some paint that I got laying around at home.

too fast should have what you need, if not they can get it in... mine i got from pacific mall for my 98, the store in the middle aisle but it's a standard cai/filter, when i switch up my intake manifold i'll be changing the filter as well

best price i could find unless you wanna try ebay or smthin. maybe find a used one, craigslist.ca, kijiji.ca
