When buying "head" make sure she/he is'nt an undercover 5.0.....otherwise you might have some explaining to do.

HAHAHAHAHA, but back to the post, Find your self a type R head, they flow really nice, and you can make some good power out of them with the right cam set up.

any head (b16, gsr, ITR) will work or fit.
If you're doing a b20vtec, you'll need the intake manifold, throttle body, complete cylinder head with vtec solenoid, valve cover, cams, cam caps and all the hardware and sensors

Yeah try and find a complete head. If your thinking type r you might be able to save some coin and get B16 head and do a mild port ad polish on it. The two heads are the same casting, but the type r is cleaned up.

b16 head + a good port job = more than a stock ITR head.

What the b16a1 vs he b16a2? well one is a hydro set up and the other is not. The head should be the same though on both gens i think the only thing that is different is the thriottle body. Tell me what you find out.

endyn sells a complete brand new head for under $1000...no mani or tb but its an endyn designed head and cams...this thing imo needs no work for the street. it comes in gsr or b16 format.
