short ram

so i installed a short ram now and its pretty damn sick but now the idleing is wierd. now the rpm is jumping up to 1000 and back down constintly. I think its because the tube that is suppose to go to the piping of the intake I put a filter there too so that could be the problem ?

Did you connect the hose that comes from the back of the valve cover to intake tube?

FTW mean for the win.
i have a filter on there too, and if the interior fan is off, rpm does bounce around a little. never did when i had a hose leading to the intake.

Have the little filter on the cam cover too, runs fine.
