blown clutch...may as well change the tranny

so 2 days ago my clutch went...and i had got the car to the top of the driveway for my mechanic and had to push it the rest of the way but rather that than pay for a tow

one of hte springs broke off the clutch plate and went between the it and the pressure plate abd the fork things on the pressure plate werew alreay worn out and uneven so a couple of those broke offf too and my car wouldnt go in to gear and when i turned it off and put it in gear and turned it on in gear the car would jump becuase of course there ewas no pressure for it to be rreleased

also my tranny was making soooooo much noise so i went and bought one from toronto JDM had it delivered to the shop in prime time had it there in like an hour after i called so everything worked out perfect only thing bothering nme now is im about 600$ down but oh well hpopefully get my car back today

Why did you get a new tranny??
That noise could have been the spring in the pressure plate before it sprung completely loose...

heres why

wen i started the car after its been outside all nigth in the mrning i could hear something juss like gliding like say 2 disks touching eaother while moving but when i engaged the clutch it would stop and be silent...wen i release it makes the noise again so i figured out that that was the pressure plate

bnow for the tranny it would make a like wompoping noise when i accelerate in first all the way till the end of second and when i gear down it would make that noise so i asked around and put 2 and 2 together so basically they were both messed up in their own ways

i had 2 different noises
