On the tranny you will see a drain plug which you directly plug a 3/8 socket into to loosen.. allow it to drain into a pan.. one drained reinstal and torque
Next you are going to need to access the filler bolt. The filler bolt is under the starter so your going to need to remove the starter. The best way to remove the starter is take off the front passenger side wheel. There are 2 bolts that hold the starter to the bell housing of the tranny. Remove the top one which is easily seen. Than go inside the wheel well and look for the bolt under the starter and take it off from there. Its much easier than fishing around for it when you can't see it. Once the starter is off you are ready to fill. Keep in mind you may need to take other things out of the car such as the battery in order to remove the starter.

Now you can loosen the filler bolt, don't loose the spring that is under it. Now with that off go back to the tranny and remove the fill level check bolt. Basically you are going to pour fluid into the tranny until fluid starts pouring out of the check bolt hole. That is how you know it is full. Is that simple. Once you are done make sure to put everything back together. The torque spec for all these bolts is 33ft-lbs.

Drain and Fill Level Check Bolt locations (as seen from the side)...

Good write up.
A tip is to loosen the fill bolt first, making sure there's no problems getting it off. If you drain the tranny and then have a problem getting the fill bolt off AFTER for whatever reason, you're stuck with an empty tranny. There are ways to get around this, but making sure there's no problems with the fill bolt first is the easiest preventative step to take. Good luck.

I just did mine the other day and it was pretty easy. http://www.torontocivics.com/tccforu...threadid=55651
I used the GM Syncromesh fluid, but Honda fluid will do fine. If you have an owners manual, it will give you the basic steps. My picture looks different then the one above, but I don't know what engine you have. My pic is taken from the passenger side looking back. Here are the steps I took.

1. Remove the filler bolt and washer. It was 17mm I think. It is the large bolt in the upper corner of the picture. The fluid will drain easier with it off. I had to jack my car up to get at it, but you might be able to reach it from the top too.

2. Remove the drain bolt located in the lower right of the picture with a 3/8" drive socket. The fluid will shoot out pretty good, so be ready with whatever you are using for a container.

3. Lower the car back to the ground so the fluid comes out evenly. I let mine drain for about 15 minutes just to get it all out.

4. You will need a funnel and a piece of tubing approximately 20" long and about 0.5" in diameter. Replace the drain bolt and and place the end of the tube in the fill hole. Fill slowly or the funnel will overflow onto your CAI (opps!). Fill till it stars to drip out of the fill hole. It will take almost 2 1L bottles (in my car anyway).

5. Replace the fill bolt and washer. I thoroughly cleaned and dried the entire area so that a potential leak will show better.

Good luck.
