If I were you, I'd remove all pistons, rods, and the crank. Clean and carefully inspect all parts, given the unknown previous life of this engine.
You have the engine appart, you might as well go all the way and make sure everything is good when you put it back together, instead of having something else break or fail later on that could have been prevented.
