valve cover question
Lol ok might be a stupid question but i dont know the answer so ima ask. Can i just take off the valve cover without covering the engine after the cover is off or do i have to cover the engine?? and when i put it back on do i have to bolt it down to a certian spec? or just bolt it till it snug

well, there nothing wrong with your motor getting exposed to the air with the vavle cover off, but if you work in a messy or busy enviroment with dust and **** like that in the air then it would be a good idea to cover it up. when you put it back on im pretty sure there is a certian spec but often i dont see people using it. just bolt it down based on your own judgement, but dont over tighten

Yes cover the engine after taking your valve cover off, the last thing you want is debris inside your engine
You should torque the valve cover to the M/S, but most people dont, they ususally just tighten it down till they are satisfied

tighten it like a wheel cus if u do 1 dise 1st the back side wil lift up and u cant get a thread started so just put all the nuts on buy hand then tighten them up bit buy bit front back then sides then center just do it moderatly tight all its doing is holding the cover on not an engin
just hand tight no megga torque or anythin
