Ok I have a mid wing and it has an led bar going thru it with 2 wires (red & Black) so it can be hooked up as a 3rd break light. So here is my question! I want to hook it up so it lights up when i break but i dont know what wires to tap in to! Dose anyone know? If someone could give me some advice that would be great! Thanx very much!

Oh, just incase if it matters or not its a 94 Hatchback.

You cut the wires going to your current 3rd brake light and connect them to the wing. If you only tap into the lines, you will have 4 brake lights which will look silly.

^ yeah cause having a brake light on your spoiler that doesn't work isn't silly.....

thats stupid don't cut the current brake light... just hook it up so you have 4... it won't look bad at all....

the point of the spoiler light is to eliminate the 3rd brake light that came stock cuz of the location and the way it will look.

so the point of the midwing led is to eliminate the 3rd brake light buy replacing it with another 3rd brake light??? ok??.. well id say get a spoon spoiler up top or just replace the stock spoiler with one that won't have a light just sitting there doing nothing...

i hope we are all talking abotu a hatchback here because thats what he owns..... i can understand how keeping the 3rd brake light on a coupe would look dumb when putting on a spoiler with led... but for a hatch i don't see why it would matter...

ROFL...hahaha....that is true true true. there is no point of the light in your rear dash if you have one in your spoiler. alot of ppl rock both and it looks....gheyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

ok so i got it all hooked up and working! I think it looks fine with 4 brake lights! So, just incase anyone else needs to know what wires to tap into....i taped into the drivers side brake light and used the black wire for the ground and the green/white wire for the power! Ill take some pics tonight and post em so every one can see what it looks like with 4 lights! Thanx for all the help and comments!!

pull the bulb on the top mounted brake light on the hatch...glad my car doesnt have a 3rd brake light in the hatch at all, only on the spoiler...thats too much lighting y0!
