Try Flash Auto Glass (can't remember the #, near finch & dufferin) I had my 93 hb done there last May. They took off the old tint on the back side windows, re-did them. (they were purple.....Did the back with ONE PEICE (it had no tint to start with) very hard to do that back glass with 1 peice......and did a front shade (top of winsheild...I have cataracts you know ) and they did all of this in about 1.5 hours (not even that long....... COST $150. (my front doors were tinted already and they were ok) Did my friends 92 Legend coupe for around the same price too. Autostyle on warden & 401 uses this guy...that's how I met him. Oh wait, I do have his number............ 416-258-0060 , His name is Ed. (just hope the number is still in service. He does alot of work for the dealers, ie Honda. Toyota, ect.... He also does mobile work if you have a place that is indoors. Give him a call.

I've got mine done for 180 tax included and lifetime warranty...
always go for the quality tint job, don't try to save that 40 bucks and then crying after a few months!
BTW, I have 89 H/B, 4th Gen rocks!

Mugen C

You can go painted windows on the back if you wanted to. As long as you have both side mirrors you can go as dark as you want. As for the front windows, a cop can give you a ticket even for 50% if he's being a pr!ck. If you have a dark interior, go with 35% all around, or 35% front, 20% rear. Hard to see into at night, but still easy enough to see out off too. If you have a lighter interior, try 20% all around, or 20% front and the next darker shade below 20% for the rear.
From no tint to black, it goes like this.....Clear glass 100%, then 50%, 35%, (35 is accepted by most cop's for the front windows), 20%, 15%, 5%(Limo), then finally black(painted). Just remember that the darker you go on the back, the darker the front windows will appear (even if you use 35% on them). (35% looks cool/classy.... a nice, even look all around...I had that on my old car and I NEVER had a problem with a cop saying my tint was too dark!)
Also get the top of the windsheild done. I don't recall how far down you can come, before it becomes a problem. Hope this helps you out.

Its an officers discretion yes, but there are legal precedents set forth by most regional detachments..
Halton here (I called my bud a lil while ago to ask about an XBox game) use 35% / 20% rule..
35% on the sides, 20% on the backs before they start to issue tint tickets.

OK

A moron friend of mine pissed of a cop once at a R.I.D.E. check point. Ching, Ching!!!! He had a Caravan.....1. tints too dark (factory tint IN THE GLASS, came that way),.....2. No seat belt (he deserved that one) ....3. washer jets that were blue (they did NOT FLASH)(Check H.T.A. in on of the threads.... sec. 62 sub. sec. 32 I belive, I have to go to court about this, for myself, BUT I AM PREPARED!!!!).....Can you say $300 + in tickets & 2 points......Cops do this so when you go to court, there is almost no way to get ALL of them dropped.....you'll end end paying for at least 1 or 2 of them.....That how they make money!

I have a couple of cop friends in Halton and Metro.. Another one of my buds is trying to get into either Peel or Halton.. and I myself am trying for Halton or Niagara.
Cop advice usually pays off in the long run
