to tint or not to tint..that is the question..

I gots a 92 hatchback (milano red) and was wondering if it would be better to tint it or would I just ruin the look of car by doing it....

Thanks

I sometimes regret getting tinted, but other times I'm like SHWWEETT!! But my car is silver and black ,so it works for me. With red, I'd prolly leave it, or do coloured tint about 50% or lighter.

Like Si Veloz said, it all depends on preference. But remember that there are cops that like to give $100 tickets for illegal tints

Well, if you do plan on tinting, just make sure your driver & passenger side windows are lighter...

I love not having tint anymore... the only time I miss it is when I'm getting glare from badly aimed headlights from the cars behind me.

Why do you want to tint?

Privacy or to reduce UV and heat?

If its for UV and heat?

Use a 50% (looks completely transparent) or a 35% (looks lightly tinted)

If you want to do it for Privacy eg 5%... you're you'll get pulled over all the time for a red car with tint

I had my windows tinted 3 years ago and don't regret it at all. I work nights and travel mostly highway, the tint helps block a lot of the lights from cars behind me. If you plan on doing your interior and don't do a lot of night driving I wouldn't get tint.

Honestly it depends on the colour of the car. Some shades I think need no tint while other shades would look awesome. In your case a light tint would be good enough. If you go to dark it will clash.

I would go with the tint. Mine is milano red as well and it looks sooooo sweet. Not too dark then it looks unatural.

a lot of people look at tinting as if the person is trying to hide something, which obviously is true in most cases.

Statistics show that tinted cars get broken into way more because people can't see inside and think there's expensive sound system or whatver in there.

With no tint, people are free to inspect the inside and see if you got anything worth smashing the window for.. tinted cars are like a surprize.. smash and maybe you'll get prize..! lol..

think about that as well when you decide if you want tint and how dark you want to go..

most ppl go limo in the back and legit in front..
