PreCut Tint Vs HandCut Tint ( Poll )

Hello,

I would like to set up a poll to see what people prefer. Precut or Hand Cut tinting.

There are pros and cons to both sides.

PreCut Tint - Price $220
* Costs more
* Lazer Cut
* No cutting on windows
* Cuts may be a fragment off sometimes
* Faster Tinting time

Hand Cut - Price $199
* Costs less
* Tinter uses a knife to cut the film
* Takes longer to tint
* Cuts can be more accurate
* Better end result

I would like to do a poll to see what customers would prefer. All tint include a Lifetime Warranty

Thanks

My brother in law & I are interested in getting some tinting done. I am already tinted but they were super cheap quality as they are now purple, not black. These came with my car at the time *4dr... tint job was junk. His car is tintless, 2dr.

How long to do 2 cars? The quality way. I am sick and tired of garbage work.

In response to the poll, I prefer quality work *takes longer* then anything else.

Lets keep this thread on the business side, there is a valid reason for Jeff posting this.

Thank you

I mean to say hand cut.
Got it done in November, and it hasn't disappoint me yet.

You guys did both my cars and I don't see a problem with hand cut. Why spend the extra money on something that probably can't be seen with the naked eye anyway. As far as quality is concerned, I am happy with the hand cut so that's what I vote for.

I had mine laser cut and I love it... looks uniform when you have the windows rolled down... never saw ones cut that clean with my old car that was hand cut... *shrugs

not to say that you do your hand cutting like that, just in my experience the laser cut was cleaner...

Are they laser cut if you got it as an option from the dealership on a new car? Or do they have their own team that does it by hand?

What would be the "best" regardless of cost?

I would think that pre-cut tints would be more commercial and mass produced. Hand cut would be more custom and fit the windows perfect.

they put them on by hand... and they were cut right in the shop I saw them cut 'em as I was waiting for my car to get tinted...

they have the measurements of the car windows in a computer and then they just type up your car and the machine cuts the tint to order...

your stating laser cut costs more and its not as good as an end result as hand cut. why would you need to know what customers prefer? wouldnt hand cut be the way for quality and cost then?
