Paint Question
Hey, last year I painted my side moulding and skirts by using a plastice adhesive promotoer, paint, then clear coat. Today I picked up a used SIR lip that is painted in EBP, and I want to change it to the color of my car (VSM). My question is, would I paint the lip the same way I did my side skirts, or do I need to sand off the existing paint?

Actually the old paint is a great adhesive. Sand it down with 400grit, prime it sand it with 600 reprime it and wet wand with 800 then paint it and prime it. Use a paint with a flex agant in it if possible to prevent many stone chips (keep in mind that being so low it will get stone chip).
If you really want to prevent it from being stone chipped go and get the 3m clear adhesive whe your done painting it and put it over it.
