This sites works for ALL makes and models of cars, not just Honda's. As long as you can find that little sticker that is somewhere on your car, then you're half way there.

Look at the door jam, under the hood..ect, for the factory code.



ie.....R-81 = Millano Red.....I found this on "location 12" on my car.

Yeah, thats My colour too! They don't have it either, BUT it just got completly repainted (original color) again like a year and a half ago, so there is maybe 1 or 2 scratchs.

I do need a touchup thing in that color though.. Time to hit up crappy tire.

At least you know the real name of the paint....Vogue Silver Metalic.

NH-583M-4, that's the same paint code as my friends (2000?) SI-G.

Considering the one from Honda is an exact match, and it's only a couple of bucks more than the Crappy Tire one, why not go to Honda to get it instead?

the VSM comes in NH583M-2 , NH583M-4, and NH583M-5....

I noticed that depending on where the car was built, the code is different. Mine just says NH583M in the door jamb... and online I found that CDN build was -4, USA built was -5.... and mine is Japanese built, so does that by default make it -2??

I have NH-583 too, but CT doesn't carry it - what's the closest match for a spray, say if I wanted to paint a lip?

I was told by a friend at honda that you should go to the dealer to get that colour. They can also mix you up a big can of the stuff so you can panint other parts the same colour....ie....dash.....mirriors (if they came black).....center console...ect....


It's not that expensive either......around $15-$20 a can.

I was aslo told that the colours are all the same....the last number only lets the peson know where the car was built, but he was not 100% sure about that.

well if i go to the dealer and get a can , is it in a spray can ,or i need a spray guy as well

I have vsm color too and I want to color match my sidemoldings and door handles. So which is the best place to get the paint Honda dealer or crappy tire?

I called Honda dealership yesterday and they only have small cans of vsm, its $7 each.
