my hood release is broken!!!!

On the back of the hood lever there is the cable attachement. A little way dow nthe cable there is a sleeve that protects teh cable. The sleeve connects to a bracket about an inch off hte back of the lever. If the sleeve falls of that lever, you have no leverage to move the cable inside the sleeve. So what you need to do is reattach the sleeve to the bracket. (It just slides into it)
Give that a go...

hmm how does that work...he breaks it you pay for his time to fix it...gotta love mechanics!
