Difference between 96-98 and 98-00 Head lights?

what is the difference between 96-98 and 98-00 headlights? I know the cover seems clear on the newer ones but is there anything else different? will a 98 headlight assembley fit directly into a 96?

00-99 are shaped slightly different and have orange blinker bulbs with no amber covering and no amber reflector strip, but have a small amber reflector in the inner chrome wall of the blinker. The 96-98 blinkers have foggy glass cover and an amber reflector strip and an amber covering for the blinker bulb inside the housing

NO. The 99-00 will not fit on the 96-98. I believe that you will have to mod the bumper and potentially the hood, fenders etc.

not a direct swap for sure.

Hood, fenders, bumper and lights would be needed. I think the rad support is also required.

you would have to change the entire front end to make it work the headlights as well as everything from the doors up is a differnet shape and size, lots of people do the conversions
