Carbon buildup on exhaust removal..

Anbody know what takes off the black **** on my SS muffler..

I heard CLR works good...

Anybody have success with any other product or technique...

Advice appreciated....

I've seen this stuff at work the the mechanics use to shine up the aircraft bodys (ie...Amerian Airlines). But the stuff is expensive.

I'l still trying to get a bottle for myself.

i was using meguiars wheel cleaner one day, tried spraying it on the muffler and it got clean. i forgot how much that bottle costs but i think its a lil bit pricey for a wheel cleaner but if u dont mind trying it, it might help. my 2 cents.
