? 'bout tyc projectors

hey guys,
first off great forum . here's my question: i was thinking about getting a set of these projectors for my eg hatch and was wondering about the difference in look when using an hid kit or the bulbs that come with them? also it sounds like there would be no drl w/ the hid kit is this true? and is the hid kit hard to install? i know it's a bunch o' ? all at once that may have been asked before, but i've been scannin the threads and am still not totally clear on the whole subject so any help is greatly appreciated!
thanx

I have a set of TYC one-piece projector with PnP HID Kit in it. The HID far outperforms even the halogen high-beam that came with the TYC lights, in both how far the light reaches, how wide the visible angel is, and how bright the object being shined at is.

I don't think anyone should go with a plug and play kit.
Hid kits in halogen housing gives no distant or width.
Gives people glare and pisses off other drivers.

If you want HID, best way is to retrofit HID projectors.
Here is my TSX projectors in OEM style housing.

whats with the hot and cold spots?

maybe they are mounted too low in the housing or something...the cut off isnt as clean as it could be either but way better than nasty plug and play kit glare

The tsx projectors always casts a werid foreground but thats only near the front of the car.
The other pics were taken when it was starting to rain so might not be that clear.
Those hot and cold spots you see are probley uneven pavement. i'll take better pics when it's nicer out
