What are the TYC headlights like on a civic eg (not the projectors), as compared to the factory lights
it's friggin dark up here at night, so safety is manditory
speaking of that, stay away from the road deer, moose and bears...knock on wood

if its not projectors.... then the only thing i can think of is that
the stock north american eg headlights are made from glass, and it has lines through the glass part of the housing.
the aftermarket tycs that you may be thinking of probably comes in either clear or black housing.. and they will be made from some kind of hard plastic andddddddddd they do not have the lines that go across the front part.

Yes the TCY's are good if you are going HID's, because the lines in the stock glass head lights, messes with the beam a lil.

Tyc make two options for eg.

oem replicas - my friend has them on his car they are replicas so they are exactly the same the only difference is they say tyc instead of the usual stanley.

the other option is the one piece head lighs which come in crome or black. In my opinion these are the best espacial when fitted with HIDs

I agree. I have Tyc's and a 6k Hid kit, looks sharp and the beam is perfect.

On my old 93 Civic with TYC's + 6k HID I found that the light beam on the road was not as good as it was with the factory lights. But I am looking for a pair too right now! They look great.....even on a 4-door

Flea Market shops can usually get you a pair.
They run about $220

You can't get these as these were retro fitted by me with TSX projectors.

You can always pay someone to do it but it's going to be a pretty pennie =)
I have another set in 1 peice TYC with bmw projectors for sale soon. Be on the look out in the FS lighting forum
