body work

hey guys,

just wondering if you can give me a 2nd opinion.

My friend has to do some body work for his car.

- a dent on the hood with some paint scraped off
- a deep scratch the extends from the fender to the side of the driver door.

He was quoted $800 for the job.

From your experience should it cost that much? What do you think would be fair for this type of body work?

Thanks in advance.

seems right, hood has to get repainted + fixed. can buy a cf hood for $350 approx. used maybe cheaper pending on the car.

but i know your main question was does $800 sound right, its a good ball park price. some wil charge more and some less. just remember you get what you pay for.
you are getting repairs and a repaint on 3 panels.
