Summer School

Anyone else here in summer school? What are you taking and where?

Im taking some gen eds at York. Can't stand it. Skip most of my classes.

Dont recommend summer school for anyone. You have to be really dedicated to your studies. I thought I would get ahead and have a lighter load in the fall. But its not worth it. Wasted my summer, and lost income from no summer job (full-time) still work part-time.

I'm taking a tele-course this summer (kind of stupid, but more flexible than a regular course), threw Athabasca, some astronomy one, its alright, but it seems like its taking way longer than it should be...

Just finished up my summer semester with Athabasca University. Supposed to be finished in Sept. but I was pretty dedicated. 5 courses in 3 months.
Also distance education is pretty neat because you have the flexibility to finish early like I did.

Im taking two courses right now, world history and intro to philosophy. I took Geography in the spring semester. The spring / summer semesters here are only 7 weeks so its fast paced, packed with work. I can't say i like it, but i only have to finish these two classes then im going to a different school. Im hyped as there are only 23 more days of school to go and i got my history mid-term back today with 94%!

My second summer taking summer courses.... it sucks

I'm at Seneca@York taking 2 courses in my CPA + 1 Gen Ed.
Didn't take a Gen Ed course last semester so its a good change but it still sucks....

each week I spend 15/16 hours in school.... plus 20/25 hours at work...then there's Assignments and test.... and the gf.......

I need sometime off......
