it's all about diet and work output.... big lifts/movements that use more of your muscles will boost your metabolism past the time you're in the gym...
i'd recommend looking up the zone diet, or the paleo diet...

i do crossfit yes...
and i don't really do either of those diets per say i just read them and extracted the good parts, atleast what I feel the good parts are and use those....
i don't pay to diet, i just do my own thing...

^so true, everyone is different, things work out differently for everybody, everybody say something different on how you should do things.....to be honest, you have to go through some trail and error period and find out what works for your body and whats not, and change it up over time.
