Jumper on the Skyway

Jumper on the Skyway
So I'm on my way to work and the skyway is closed. I'm already late and wondering what the holdup is. So I turn on the radio and they are saying that there is a suicide jumper on the skyway. So I figure its going to be a while so I turn around and take the lower bridge that goes under the skyway and over the welland canal. As I'm waiting for a boat to go through I look up and see this guy sitting on the wall of the bridge dangling his feet, smoking a cigarette and flipping the bird to the 5 cops who have guns pointed at him (probably taser guns.. cause all cops love those). I'm laughing like crazy cause this dude is NUTS! So I'm being all patient (smoking a cigar, listening to tunes) when I hear the horn of the car behind me honking and this guy yells out his car window "Just do it already! You're holding up all the G*d D*mn traffic!!" HAHA Now I'm howling. After I crossed the bridge the guy wasn't on the wall anymore. I don't know if he got off or jumped. Meh... good morning entertainment for me and an excuse to be late for work!

ctually I found part of SurfofPink's story amuzing .. dude is there ont he side of the bridge waiting to kill himself and the cops are standing there with guns pointed at him.... Like Hello dude wants to die they aren't helping the situation

I think they were just trying to force him down cause he was screwing around. Eventually the cops distracted him and two other cops grabbed him off the ledge and arrested him. Congratulations dork.

SOP, I was two cars back on the QEW niagara bound from making it over before they closed the bridge off. I was on my way to work at 8:30 and this cop car comes flying by and slams on the brakes... I sat for two hours gridlocked until they finally started turning us around on the hwy and getting off at the niagara st on ramp. I ended up being 3 hours late for work today cause some headcase.

if only no one paid attention to these idiots, this wouldn't be a problem at all. no one would ever do this kinda stuff.
ppl prolly do it for attention, so if they didn't get attention, then they wouldnt do it. and those who wanna kill themselves will eventually do it anyways, so just let them. it would save everyone a lotta time, and save taxpayers money too so we wouldn't have to pay for their treatment. hella cheaper to pay a crew for a few hours of cleanup than paying for this guys mental hospital stay.
