Wheres the jumper on my 88 CRX to check trouble codes?

Where is it?? AND hwo do i do it?

I read that there is a blue 2 wire connector to shrot over and it then shows the codes on the CEL. But i have a light on my ECU, and it flashes series of flashes which i thought were codes, and i cnat even find the jumper plug anywhere under the dash on the passenger side.
